Finished week 1 of T25 and gained 3 lbs-Need some advice/motivation

So I started T25 on Monday and was 187 on Saturday and then Friday I weigh in and Im 190. I have been eating clean/tracking my calories all week, doing T25, and walking. What the heck. Its very frustrating to see lbs going up instead of down. Any advice? I'm beginning to feel like I'll never get this weight off. I am in a severe plateau because I have been stuck in 190's for months. I started my journey at 250 so I have came a ways but I still feel very fat/overweight.

This link has some really good info0 -
Couple things in addition to the above.
New workout program (especially if you weren't working out before or it's more intense than your usual) = water weight gain for muscle repair. You just have to wait this one out. Could be a few days or even longer. This could mask some weight loss.
If you're just starting back up with logging/accurately tracking calories, it may just take time. It takes me over 5 weeks before I even start losing weight. Again, if you are being absolutely honest with yourself and know you're doing everything right, just wait it out.
Unfortunately, there's a lot of waiting in weight loss. Hang in there!0 -
Might be water weight from starting a new, more intense workout.
If you've been stuck in the 190s for months now might be a good time to start using a food scale to measure/weigh all you're eating and drinking. The smaller you get the more accurate you have to be with your intake.
Another thing might be your exercise calories, especially if you're logging your burns into MFP. If you are, try eating 50-75% of the exercise calories back.
You will have to be patient tho, weight loss isn't always linear and sometimes it will take longer than a week to see if any of the changes you are making are working.0 -
It could also be muscle weight. Measure yourself, take pictures, keep at it. You'll get it off.0

No No No. Please stop with this nonsense. People do not build 3 pounds of muscle in 5 days by walking and eating at a supposed deficit.
OP's problem is impatience. Fluctuations over 4-5 days do not a weight loss trend make.0 -

Yup. Instant gratification is not part of weight loss. Weigh everything you eat to track calories accurately and make sure you eat less than what you burn. Time and patience. "eating clean" also doesn't guarantee weight loss. A calorie deficit does. My diet still includes a lot of things that are not "clean" and I'm steadily losing weight because I make sure those treats fit into my calorie allowance.0
