So I've been taking the Garcinia Cambodia pills for a while and they really do help control my appetite a lot and I don't take them always but lately when I take them I get the WORST stomach ache ever. Has anyone else taken these? Or have something else that would help in place of these?

Please stop taking them or any other supplement like it. None of them work, and some can be dangerous.

I have taken Garcinia Cambogia in the past, and it hasn't done a thing. I was, if possible, more hungry and although I didn't get stomach aches, if you do, you should definitely stop taking it. I've done a ton of research on them and there's not even a proven correlation between the supplement and appetite suppression and/or weight loss.

Stop. No more pills. Maybe have a cup of coffee instead if you need a stimulant to control your appetite.

I have tried every single over the counter magic weight loss pill that promises lots of wonderful things. And nothing but a calorie deficit works for LONG TERM weight loss.

I definitely understand feeling like you need something for appetite control but I suggest working on finding foods that satisfy you longer and exercise regularly so you have extra calories to eat if you need to. Good luck!!

They're not working AND they make your stomach hurt? Why are you still taking them?

Oh I didn't say they weren't working, for a while they really made me feel more full all the time until they made my stomach have terrible pain

Yes. Let MFP calculate your daily calorie intake, and follow it.

Hi, Rachel. I have a suggestion. Since the pills are really nothing, and because they make your stomach hurt, just throw them away? The only way to lose weight is to eat at a calorie deficit, so I would suggest setting your goals up to lose weight. Stick with your calorie goals. You really don't need those pills.

You can do this in a healthy way!

Please stop taking those pills. If you're losing weight, it's not the pills, it's that you are eating at a calorie deficit. That's it.

Any pill will work as long as you eat at a calorie deficit, and no pill will work if you eat at maintenance or a surplus.

This, so much! The pain is not worth it. I agree with seeing a doctor.

Also, increase fibre and fat. I agree with setting the proper calorie amount for your stats and how much you need to lose. Aim to lose 1.5-2lbs a week, and eat back a portion of exercise calories if you exercise.
