Hi eveoenone,
I am a 36 year old stay at home Mom, I recently had sugery and had to step on the scale and cried when I did. I want to lose the weight so here I am asking humbly for help. My main issue ( I think) is I am an emotional eater. It is crazy, here's hoping by keeping track of things I can succeed.

if you truly record what you are eating and use this site to the best of your ability, it will definitely help. You realize how much a serving is, how many calories are in what you are eating, and it motivates you at the end of the day with how much you might weigh in 5 weeks. If this were not a free site, my friends might think I get kickbacks or something, 'cause I am always promoting it!0

I was an emotional eater also, happy, sad, bored, angry... all emotions gave me a reason to eat, to make Myself feel better.
Well, look where it got me! Even MORE unhappy about myself.
I had to start small. Anytime I'm upset, sad or angry, i go for a walk. Whether its 30 mins at midnight or 2 hours in the afternoon. I avoid the kitchen at all costs.
I am still trying to conquer the happy eating. I celebrate my frienships with my girl friends once a month by going out to lunch and having cocktails. I do indulge slightly however i try to make good decisions.
This is a journey, it will take time to not only train our bodies, but our minds as well into being healthy day in and day out.
Good luck!0 -

Been there And done that. My highest was 261 and my smallest has been 160. Right now I am 173 as of sunday morn and I am in general happy with the actual numbers.... Just wish it wasn't so jiggly!! After vacation I think I am gonna start and stick with chalean extreme and try to tone it all up. Now if numbers drop while I am doing that I won't mind. Use all the tools in this site and keep posting progress. Join a few challenges. It will all come off in the end when the dAy is done!0
