Vegan gaining

Hi there, I recently went vegan and am struggling to get the calories I need to gain. I have always been slim-average build but not particularly happy with that, I would like to bulk up. I have been eating plenty of nuts and vegan protein shakes etc but if anyone has any tips or calorie dense foods they would recommend that would be great. Thanks

What do you put in your shakes? I'd add more bananas if you can. 100 cals a pop and they digest easily.
Coconut oil. A spoonful here and there and you're up another 200-300 cals.
Increase soft foods like sweet potato and bananas. High in calories and easy to get down the gullet.0 -
Agreed with bananas and potatoes!0

I love grains like rice and wheat pastas as well as potatoes & bananas. I'm excited to see another vegan on here! To be honest I think we have an advantage when it comes to gaining weight vs other diets, I've been vegan for about six months and I've had about a 15lbs weight increase. Try what you like as staples and then explore and add onto your diet, be patient and the results will come.0
