Fitbit to Apple Watch - MFP not seeing steps

I just received an Apple Watch to replace my Fitbit and I cannot seem to get MFP to see the steps from my Watch. I disconnected the Fitbit and deleted and reinstalled the app but it still doesn't see it. My HealthKit is set up for MFP, so I don't know what else I can change. Please help - I have used MFP for years and do not want to start over with another app

From MFP app home page, click the "more" button (bottom right of the screen).
Go to "steps" and make sure your Apple Watch is chosen as your device.0 -
