Didn't know where to put this, and I know it's kind of "taboo" on these sites. Just wondering, seems to be something a lot of my coworkers are having done. Like I said I'm just looking for input pros cons from people who's had this particular procedure. The sleeve

Woops didn't read your post properly....
Pros is that it is the full stop for me. My portions were big pre op as I liked to feel satisfied bit I can only eat a max of 1/4 to 1/2 a cup at meals now and don't have any desire to eat more. It's removed my unhealthy relationship with good which I needed.
Cons nothing specific thus far. Only thing I sometimes struggle with is getting everything in I need to in a day ie my water and food requirements

I had it done about three years ago. I plateaued pretty quickly. at 60 lbs done. Weight has been creeping back on. Still no regrets but it is not a magic pill either. My portions are way smaller, but even with regular exercise and watching what I eat, I am not able to loose more. What I have noticed is that if I am not careful the pounds sneak back on.

I just find that amazing. Smaller portions and gaining the weight.

I had my surgery December 2014. I'm down 130# and still losing to goal. You have to remember smaller stomach ("pouch") is just a tool for weight loss. If you graze through the day on high calorie foods you will gain. That being said it was the best decision. Saved my life! And I am rarely hungry.

Great info. I will be having the procedure done in a couple of months. I still have to go through a lot of steps before the operation. Thanks.
