Exercise calories wont add to tracker

Hi I'm new! Im adding my weight lifting workout to this app, but the calories burned don't show up on my daily total. Thoughts? Thanks

No... the calories for strength training are generally not accurate, but they can be ok if you know that. Personally I'd not eat them all back.. maybe not even half. For me, the calories are more than my HR monitor says, which already is overestimating since it's resistance training and not steady state cardio.0

It was close for me but I started with eating half the calories and reevaluated after a few weeks. After about 6 weeks, and a couple calorie increases, I was confident about my burns.0 -

I hate the fact that they still suggest using a hrm for that. Even an hrm is inaccurate for anything other than steady state cardio. But thanks for sharing that. I'd not seen it.0 -
An HRM is the wrong tool for calculating burn from lifting ... then again, so is inputting it as cardio. But some people crave a number no matter how inaccurate it is.0
