I got this from a nurse that I took a nutrition class. I have diabetes/PCOS (insulin-resistance) so I really had unique needs. I am a picky eater so she showed me how to make this delicious pizza that really is healthy, too. She said that the base of the pizza is what makes it healthy.

1 Mission Carb-balance tortilla (10 net carbs)
Contadino Pizza Squeeze
Low-Fat mozz. cheese
turkey pepperoni (once it was cooked, i couldn't tell the difference)
Mushrooms, other veggies

what sort of calorie total does this come out to?
  • how long and at what temp do you cook it--also need to know cal count please
  • This is a really good pizza dough but use golden flax seed meal - I make this often and my super picky hubby likes it too. http://lowcarbdiets.about.com/od/breads/r/flaxpizza.htm

This is super low carb too! I normally split it into 8 pieces.
Whole crust has 7 grams of effective carbohydrate, plus 52 grams fiber, 47 grams protein, 130 grams healthy fat, and 1525 calories.

    According to fitnesspal
    220 calories, 20 carbs, 9 fat

I put it in my toaster oven and bake it there for 4 - 6 minutes. I tried it in the oven, but it didn't taste as crunchy, but it was still good. It's actually what I'm eating right now.
