Experience/advice with a pre-workout supplement

Hi there
I'm a 25 year old woman losing weight. I strength train 3X week and do cardio training 3X week.
I usually have a decent sized breakfast, wait an hour or two, and workout.
With my school and work schedule I'm simply not going to have the time, and there's a pre-workout for women on sale right now. My tentative plan was to have some fruit and the pre-workout in the am so I could workout in the morning.
So I guess I'm just curious about everyone's experiences and or knowledge. Is not worth the money? Can you tell a difference when you use it? I'm pretty skeptical about that kind of stuff, just wondering if it's worth it.
Thanks for your time

I can tell a difference. I used black coffee and waited as long as I could before I was just literally falling asleep on the train ride home and missing workouts. It's completely a personal choice whether to take it or not. You could try a sample of one before buying a whole tub.
I don't see the point of a "women's" pre-workout though.0 -
Sometimes it helped, other times I'm not sure it did anything but made my face itch. I bought some recently, but I always forget to use it. Also, I usually work out after work and if I take it too late it keeps me up at night.0

To me it's like taking speed, I don't like the way pre-workouts make me feel. Shaky/jittery and irritable, with my heart going a hundred miles an hour. I can definitely tell a difference, and I don't like it one bit, so definitely not worth the money to me. I'll settle for a cup of coffee a little while before I work out.0

i take c4 before my workouts- i can tell a difference but not much maybe bc i drink a ton of coffee everyday. fruits and preworkout together may make you crap yourself.0

Pre workouts are good! When starting one you might want to do half scoop. To see how you are with it and if you workout early morning it's good to do a fast workout. Which is take take pre workout exercise then have a good breakfast.0

I use a pre-workout because I get up really early and would like to be awake by the time I get to the gym. If I went to the gym at a human hour I wouldn't use it. I tried coffee and by the time its cool enough to drink in proper quantities its not having enough time to work.
I've only tried about 4 different ones. I ended up with what I have because it wakes me up without feeling jittery and it doesn't taste like chemicals.
I don't know how a pre-workout could be specific for women, but if its cheaper than the other stuff, go for it. I'd highly suggest at least getting a sample packet first. Committing to a full bottle and discovering you just can't handle the taste/jitters/whatever is a disappointing feeling.0 -
Thankyou evreybody for your responses! The brand is fitmiss and I've read a lot of reviews on their products and decided to go for it.
I'll update the post later, hopefully this will help somebody else as well.0
