Wanting to lose around 10kg, Any advice? I have started eating only healthy foods as opposed to the odd treat which I used to have, though I am being told moderation is better I thought cutting a lot of the bad stuff out could help. I am exercising everyday, is there anything that can help me speed up the process?

How do you define "only healthy"? How long have you been using the calorie tracker? Also curious on your stats, age/height/current weight and what your daily MFP goal is right now?

Put your stats into MFP with a goal of .5-1lb loss a week, you font have s lot to lose so that is an appropriate goal.

Then log your calories. Using a food scale for solids and cups and spoons will be a tremendous help towards accuracy.

If you decide to add exercise to the mix eat back 50-75% of the calories MFP awards you for the exercise ( MFP overestimates) so you continue losing at your goal.

You can eat whatever and whenever you wish. It is staying at your calorie goal that will lead to losing weight.

    Cheers, h.

    What are your stats?

What calorie goal did you get from MFP? How many lbs per week did you enter?

How are you estimating your intake and burn estimations?

A calorie deficit is the only way to lose weight.

A digital food scale will help with accurately determining how many calories you are eating.

Excersize will help you maintain muscle while losing fat, and help contribute to your calorie deficit and health.

Check out the link provided above and read the stickied posts at the top of the forums to get more good info. Look up CICO, and macros. It's a lot to learn at first, but a good basic knowledge of how and why things work will help you steer clear of bad advice and really help you succeed :)

Basically just trying to stick to 1200 calories a day, I have only started using this app within the last few days.
I have been trying to eat quite healthy for a while now but would find myself having treats such as chocolate over christmas and the odd take away after a night out. I have stopped basically all treats now and am only eating salads cereals and vegetables, with chicken and fish. I haven't weighted myself but my guess would be about 69KG that was my last weigh in. I am around 172cm tall. I am 19years old. I think i entered to try lose 1kg a week but it took me down to 0.8. Thanks for all of your feedback :)
