Been there, done that, need to do it again!

Hi

I am looking for MFP friends who have lost (a little or a lot) and put it back in again (a little or a lot) - but who are motivated to change and who want to try...again.

I'm in my thirties, am married, have kids, run long distances and am planning on running my first half marathon next month. I eat too many sweets and love wine - both are being addressed as of NOW.

So send me a request and tell me a bit about yourself please.

Hi, I have always struggled although I've made good progress. I lost 26kg (roughly 50lbs) in 2006 and have tried unsuccessfully to maintain it ever since while travelling overseas and having children. I'm in my thirties, engaged and have two pre-school aged children. I love food, not much more I can add to that! Ha ha ha...

We are hoping to get married this year and I just want to have more energy on a daily basis to cope with my busy life. MFP has been great over the last year but I want some friends to help with accountability and motivation

Hi, I gained weight through Uni and moving abroad. Got back into shape in my 20's, took up triathlons and completed an Olympic distance and a half marathon.
Few things have happened since then. Am now 31, have 16mth old and want to lose 8-12kg, get my fitness back and be a good role model for my daughter. Am planning to enter a few tri's this year.
I also love to cook and love wine- so not necessarily bad food, probably just too much!

I have sadly gained and lost between 80-100 pounds twice in my life and here I am again with 100 pounds to loose. Not really sure exactly what is wrong with me!!! Totally get its a lifestyle change and have not lost with fad diets (first time on my own second time with ww attending meetings). Just can't seem to stick with it once I hit goal. I'm either obsessing and losing or not and gaining!! Ugh it is so frustrating!!!!!

I lost 16 pounds in 2012 for a special vacation (50th cruise). have gained most of it back but the kicker is the bad eating habits. I too love wine, chocolate and sweets. I've got you all beat!! I leave at the end of this month for a trip to South Africa. I'm looking to get my eating habits under control and lose a little and tone a little before I go and keep up with the habits.

I started a group at my work called "junk free January". Wine isn't junk food...right???!!!

Me Me Me! On again off again...

I'm 28, three kids, enjoy lifting heavy objects over and over again....and running (slow, like a turtle. But I do it!)

I have my 4th half marathon in April.

I'm in the same boat...lost about 30 lbs 7 years ago with weight watcher and since then have gained that back plus a ton more. Now, life is too hectic to go to meetings but i need to regain control. I don't feel I have the greatest support system at home so i hope to find it here. Feel free to add me! I can use all the motivation possible!

Hi well let's see I had lost about 70-80 lbs several yrs ago and then I got pregnant with my sweet perfect little boy!! (did I mention it's been 11 yrs tho) lol... I worked my butt off trying to lose this weight.. Then I found out I had a list of medical problems 20 miles long..so then there's all the medications....they really blow u up like a big hot air balloon..so I found out about MFP from my Dr office and figured it couldn't hurt. This is my 1st day on. I'm 5'2" 193 lbs. I AM going to get down to 130. Sooooo come on add me as a friend..Seems we both need motivation and some humor thru this journey...lots of luck
