What's the best protein powder and flavor under $40? I've tried optimum nutrition's mint chocolate, cake donut, and extreme rich chocolate. They taste fantastic and I'd like to try other brands and flavors! Any suggestions?

I love Sunwarrior's Warrior Blend. Both vanilla and chocolate are awesome. The powders are raw, vegan protein with nothing artificial and no preservatives. A 1 lb bag is $30 if I remember correctly.0

Can get a 2.2 pound bag for about $41 on Amazon.
Does it actually taste good, though? I've had some of those nothing added/no preservatives protein powders and they taste horrible.0 -

Haha! Me too! I've tried so many different brands and hated all of them but Sunwarrior. Luckily, the natural food store I frequent has sample size packets and I didn't waste a lot of money. I've only used them in smoothies, mind you, but I think these taste great. I can't vouch for just mixing the powder with water, juice, or milk.
My favorite smoothie recipe is a scoop of chocolate powder, tablespoon of coconut oil peanut butter, banana, 1/2 cup of milk, and ice.0 -

Very cool, I may give it a try. I also make smoothies but use fruit so may have to use vanilla instead. Though your recipe does sound good. Thanks!0 -
I like Vega. The Vanilla Chai is definitely different and seems to help on days when I'm craving sweets (I add a teaspoon of cocoa powder). Not sure what country you're in, but here in Canada I can get a huge tub on Vitamart.ca for under $50 - which is pretty good. You save more if you buy more too.
