Creating my exercise for mfp

Can someone walk me through the process of creating my exercises for mfp? I am doing some things that aren't listed but have no idea how to figure out the calories burned (assuming this is based on the performers weight). Do you know if mfp automatically adjusts as your weight changes or if you have to edit it for this purpose? Input would be much appreciated!

What exercises are you doing that aren't in the database? Maybe we can help you find them.0

MFP database has a range of accurate to widely inaccurate entries in the database for each individual. None of them are geared to users weight
What exercises are you doing ...use a METs table http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/store/10.1002/clc.4960130809/asset/4960130809_ftp.pdf;jsessionid=32ABA9386AC3746F7B75A01B448FD098.f01t01?v=1&t=ij6q8jza&s=b2c6a34e54e081f1c0ee2554abc59021493bb42b
Or an online calculator0 -
I was just thinking the same thing today! So for example, today I did a reverse lunge with a medicine ball that i simultaneously pushed away from me (lateral shoulder press) then swung above my head. How on earth does that get logged?

Well, things like house cleaning are burning calories. I cleaned house for a good 4 hours today and while it isn't traditional exercise, it's still exercise.0 -
There are two entries in the database for cleaning, one for light , moderate effort , and one for heavy vigorous effort, but unless it's out of the ordinary cleaning like spring cleaning, or something involving moving furniture, and not something like the dusting, laundry or mopping that usually gets done anyway, then I wouldn't bother counting it
ETA I logged cleaning last week , as we had a massive post holidays clean up before the in laws arrived0 -

That's because it's counted in activity level
