When people don't wipe down the machines when they really should have. You know the ones.

Honestly I have so many issues with the gym that I bought some good equipment and do everything at home now. Don't miss the gym.

In answer to your question, unsolicited advice from total strangers who have no freaking idea what I am trying to accomplish

People - usually men who hog two weight machines at the same time and refuse to let me have either one to do my 3 reps and get out of dodge. Then they stay there for 35 mins as if that muscle will grow over night.

Have to agree, whenever I'm working out in the same area as a spin class I can forget about using my muscle mind connection, it decreases my focus. There's just something about thoses leggings.

People who bounce while they're running on treadmills, causing breakage... Slow it down by .5 and you won't be elephanting the poor machine.

People who put on perfume or cologne before a cardio workout. I need a gas mask sometimes.

Nothing really, it's mine and mine only! Only need to buy some more plates and add equipment once in a while.

    THIS!

Not just bench but anything. They do like one set of 10 reps then spend 20 minutes on the phone while you shoot daggers at them.

    ARGH!!!!

Nothing really. I tune out the world around me and get my workout on. My time is my time. People might be frustrated with me but I wouldn't know and don't care.

People that do circuit training and tie up all kinds of equipment during the morning rush hour. That level of entitlement is comical.

What do you mean "tie it up?" They can only be on one machine at a time, right? So do they tell people not to use the other machines even though they're empty?

I have a home gym & what frustrates me, is that most of it; is still in boxes because I am the 1, whom has to assemble everything. I'll possible lose all of my weight, before I get it complete; including buying even more equipment but at least it'll help me maintain.

They leave their towel draped over a bench or keys and water bottle next to a cable pulley.

Chatty people. Seriously, I'm not there to talk and bs with some stranger...especially people who don't seem to realize I have ear buds in, and that means I don't give a f what they're saying. I just want to get it over with. If they want to talk to me, wait until I'm done and it's all cool. It breaks my focus and makes me realize how much my joints really do hurt, which kills my motivation.
