Hello! I'm a bit lost, not sure why I can only input food that I scan or know the calories for. For ex, I want to put in one orange, why can't it search for me? :-/

It seems kind of glitchy, sometimes I can find exactly what I search for and other times it can't find the simplest food.

Is the only way to search for foods is by starting a new recipe and putting in each of the ingredients?

When I put in food I try to be pretty on point. You can type in mandarin orange and I will scroll to find the exact match. So if you are looking for an apple of a specific kind, I will type honeycrisp apple and it goes right to it. I used the recipe builder for casseroles, muffin recipes.etc.

No, under food, I don't go to recipe. I go to my food diary, pick the meal, then type wtv (ex: "orange") & it'll come up with calorie information. Hope this helps!
