The majority of the fat on my body is sadly around my stomach area. Any tips on getting rid of this type of fat?

I'm 230 right now and am eating at a 2000 calorie a day diet and I normally don't even reach that0 -
The only thing you can do is eat at a deficit. Unfortunately, the fat doesn't come off usually where we need it too but the more you lose, the smaller it will get in time. Eat right, exercise and be patient.0

How do you log everything? Do you accurately weigh all solids and use liquid measure for liquids?0

In my experience, there's no way to "target" fat, I just had to get a calorie deficit.
I'm 6'3, and to lose weight I had to eat 1600/day as well as do 600+ calories workout sessions every other day.0 -
Here... you should watch this, then.

Also, an FYI... package serving sizes and calorie counts can but up to 20% off... this margin of error is allowed by regulation agencies and is common.0

situps.
situps will not do a thing for stomach fat.
I would suggest a deficit and strength training while getting adequate protein. the strength training and protein will ensure that a larger % of your weight loss comes from fat, where that fat comes from will come down to genetics unfortunately.0 -

^Came here to make sure someone posted this. It really is full of good information for this topic.0 -
watch the videos and read the link posted above. Targeted fat loss is not possible and will come off by genetics.0

You can't target weight loss.0

Deficit and burn, baby, deficit and burn. Your own sweet self decides which shelves of the pantry to raid first... Keep at it & eventually it will go.0
