Hello Everyone!

I am getting married in 5 days and wondering if anyone has tips on what foods to eat and to avoid for the wedding day. What should I eat for clear skin (or avoid b/c of break outs) What should I avoid so as not to get gas or be bloated any pointers would be great!

Heck, even just good tips for how to keep the stress level low on the wedding day would be great as well.

Have a good one all!

Drink lots of water. Watch that your sodium intake isn't too high - bloating isn't fun on your wedding day. Relax and have fun. I believe that a stressed wedding means a stressed marriage!

    BUMP!

My advice is = water water water! fruits and veggies. I would try to avoid sugar and processed foods! And if you're going to be exercising in the next couple days, be sure to wash off all your makeup BEFORE you work out and then wash your face afterwards. The sweat on your face can cause breakouts!

as a fellow bride-to-be (mine is not until July 2012), I completely understand this! Congratulations!

Hello, I need help with this as well... I have lost some weight prior to my wedding which is in 16 days, but my seamstress says she won't have time to take it in anymore after this last fitting. But, I don't want to be eating junk! I just really need ways to eat right and I'm still working on a toned back :)

    Check out this article http://www.abc2news.com/dpp/lifestyle/top-foods-to-avoid-before-hitting-the-beach

I know it is for a beach body but it's mainly how to avoid bloat which is important on your wedding day. The main thing it emphasizes is no soda, especially diet coke, no broccoli, low sodium, and no sugar-free things high in sugar alcohols.

    5 days, yay!! Congratulations!!!!!!!

I definitely would keep hydrated with water, do some light cardio or strength training, nothing too crazy, you don't want that gorgeous dress slipping off! Fruits, vegetables, low salt/sodium intake... and don't stress! have a great time!!!

just remember how much your future husband is going to love watching you walk down that isle!

as a fellow future bride (October 8th this year), I too am trying to get ready and loose what I can!

Best wishes on your big day!!

Thanks everyone and good luck to all of the upcoming celebrants! I guess my big thing is going to be sodium.

@Brittaney, I am working hard to not work too hard at the gym lol. My dress is already a little loose (but comfortable and looks good), it was tight when I bought it in May and I went a little overboard trying to make sure I didn't gain weight and grow out of it.
