I need motivation! I've been soo good for about 2 weeks and I'm hitting a wall! My will power is quite rubbish and I'm really trying to exercise in some way at least once a day.
I can't fail again as I need to do this for my health and family! Can anyone give me some motivation!

If your goal is to lose weight, your success will come from the kitchen. Do you have a weight loss goal? Do you have a daily calorie target? If not, that is a start.
Log everything. I can't stress this enough. I used to get food amnesia all the time before I started logging. Even now, if I wait to log my food at the end of the day, I'm sometimes shocked by how many calories I've eaten.
Also celebrate every small victory. A pound IS a pound. I used to say "oh, it's only a pound", and kind of deflate myself. And you know what? I'd fall
right off the wagon and eat that pound plus another back. Now that I've changed my mindset, every pound is relevant and important.
Use MFP! I am on here every day, reading, learning, participating in challenges, and surrounding myself with people who are going through the same thing. Wow, what a difference this makes. Because even if people IRL don't get it or even know I'm losing weight (I don't tell a lot of people), I get my support right here.
So far for me, this has translated to 25 "one pounders" I still Have a ways to go, but I'm enjoying the journey!
Hope this helps!

It gets easier OP. I actually have an alarm with a reminder on my phone with the whole visualisation thing and telling myself everyday day "this is getting easier and I am closer and closet to my goal"0 -

-Get a nice blouse that you really like one size smaller than your size, promise to yourself that you'll fit in there in no time.
-Massage yourself in the shower after every work out session, you deserve it, so you'll fight for your right of relaxing.
-Measure your hips with a measuring tape, once you see a half of inch is gone that will motivate you.
If your issue is with the daily exercise then there are a few tips. What you like to do? swimming? running?0 -
How important is your family to you? How important are you, to you? How important is overeating food, to you? This program/ap doesn't label food good or bad. You don't need to never eat something. You just need to eat little enough to lose weight, and after that to maintain- for the rest of your life. A trim and fit and healthy you. For your family, and for yourself.0

When you want to snack, tell yourself your only options are fruit or vegetables. I tell myself that "no one gets fat eating fruit and vegetables" and I shouldn't put a limit on it. In the end I find that they really fill me up and I don't actually eat that much to satisfy the craving.0

I exercise three to four times a week. If you're buckling under the load of your commitments, you could try scheduling one or two fewer workouts per week while keeping up with your nutrition. How many calories are you allotted per day, and how many lbs are you trying to lose?0

Thanks everyone, I've been poorly recently and I think it's the erg to just be naughty with food due to stress! I know I need to fix the stress rather than comfort eat! But it's quite tricky doing that and trying to be mom of 5 !0

Don't think of it in terms of being "naughty." You're not a five-year-old and no one is going to send you to your room for eating a cookie. Moral virtue doesn't take fat off your @ss. Try thinking about what you eat rationally instead of emotionally: is what you're about to put in your mouth moving you closer to your goal or farther away?0
