Lemon and lime water

I have started slicing up lemon and lime to put in my water. I have to say ever since I have started doing that I feel really good about myself and feel healthier, less bloated etc.

    Definitely helps with bloating, lemon water gets rid of the salt in your body which can cause bloating, I make a pitcher of purified watered, 1 lemon, 1 cucumber and some ginger drink it with every meal, it makes me feel a lot better too, and gets rid of the excess water my body tends to hold.

    Yeah it's a great thirst quencher! I like to flavor my water with cucumber and mint, or muddled berries as well. Yum :)

    Having a large glass of warm water with half squeezed lemon and some stevia is how I start my day. It really helps 'get things going'.

    Ive always heard lemon wAter is a great duretic. My wife jusy had a baby and multiple doctor's said its thr best natural way to eliminate excess water retention

    water is a great diuretic.

    the fruit you put in it has no effect, other than maybe making it taste better lol

    (doctors really aren't as smart as they think they are ;) )

    I make a half gallon of lemon water every day, keep it on my counter, and try to drink it all. I feel better, and less bloated too. I dropped a couple of pounds when I started doing this, and I'm sure it's water weight. I just don't like plain water, and the lemon really helps.

    Just understand that the lemon-lime water does not help weight loss, beyond increasing water intake. However, if it keeps you mindful and focused, so be it! More power to you.
