Hi all, I am 5st overweight, 22 & 5ft2 so have a very high BMI.
I have just had my 2nd child 7 weeks ago and have been exercising and healthy eating for a week and a half.
I have only lost 2 lbs in that amount of time and with getting married in June 24th and still needing to get a wedding dress I'm needing to a lose a little more quicker.
I am aiming to be a 10 top 12 bottom from my current 14/16 and wondering what people's opinions on juice diets or just juicing/blending for breakfast and lunch and meal for dinner to help with increased weight loss?
I am currently taking fat burners also at the advised 2 pills a day.
Thank you.

I must stress I used these fat burners prior to pregnancy alongside exercise and muscle building.

Honestly, eat real food and save your money on those fat burners (they do nothing). Juicing strips the fiber of fruits and vegetables, and often liquid calories are less satisfying than solid calories (the stomach often does not give the "I'm getting full" message to the brain for those liquid calories), which might make it really difficult to stay satisfied and within your calorie goals.

You've lost 2lbs in 10-11 days. That's great progress (and depending on your current weight, it might be recommended that you only shoot for a 1lb loss per week). Remember that weight loss is not linear, our weight can fluctuate by a few pounds everyday, and that ultimately it's not the end of the world if you're not a certain size by June.

I really recommend you input your stats and weight loss goals into MFP, read many of the stickied threads on the forum, and focus on eating in a way that you can sustain on for the rest of your life. If drinking juice two times a day is what keeps you the fullest, alrighty, but don't make yourself miserable from it when you can eat anything and lose weight (as long as it fits within your calorie goals).

Juice diets are bunk .,,you're just drinking your calories instead of eating them ..fine if you like juice more than chewing

You had a baby 7 weeks ago? Are you breastfeeding? You don't think that your body needs time to recover

Fat burners are bunk too ...caffeine and laxatives generally when OTC

That said 2lbs in 10 days isn't bad

Are you breastfeeding? If so, you're going to need alot more calories than what juicing will provide you. At minimum you're supposed to eat 1800 calories, and even more if you're exercising.

Breastfeeding aside, I'm not a fan of juicing. You're better off just eating the foods you normally eat within your calorie goal. 2 lbs in a week and a half is a good start. But remember to be kind to your body. You JUST had a baby 7 weeks ago. If you exercise, ease into it. Don't go balls to the wall or you're going to end up hurt.

OP - please ditch the 'fat burners' and re-consider the juice diet.

You are a new Mum of only 7 weeks post partum and your body is undergoing a healing process as a consequence of that. You may not think it but 2 lbs lost in the time frame you have mentioned is great.

Like @abatonfan said input your stats to MFP and go from there. You don't have to go for the biggest deficit of 2 lbs per week loss but as you have the deadline in June to meet I expect you will pick this one.

If so, eat the foods you enjoy in lesser quantities, don't go balls out trying to change everything with how you eat the only issue is that your CO be less than CI and they are filling and enjoyable foods for you. Try to incorporate more water to keep hydrated rather than drinking calories, if you can get in some exercise for your health's sake something you enjoy (maybe put Bub's in the pram) and go for a long walk, this will give you extra calories to eat (perhaps try 50-75% of MFP burn suggestions).

Patience is going to be your constant companion on this road....and it will serve you well.

Congratulations too on the birth of your Baby and your up-coming Wedding!!!

    All the best.

Stick to no more than 2lb per week. So your progress is just fine. Losing faster can result in lower energy, loss of breastmilk, thinning hair, brittle nails and saggy skin. Not pretty.

Juice cleanses are useless. You will be miserable and starving, which is the last thing you're going to want while trying to care for a newborn. Fat burners are probably very dangerous for your baby, as it transfers into breastmilk. They're also bad for your own health, they can do a number on your heart. Stay healthy for your kids. Eat real foods, at a reasonable calorie deficit, and you'll make progress. Having a specific goal on a timeline can set you up for disappointment if you don't reach it in time, so I would just shoot for progress in general versus a scale goal.

If your fiance loves you and wants to marry you now, he'll certainly still want to in June, regardless of what size your dress is.

This is for self confidence purposes. I am the biggest I have ever been and not just on the scales.
I don't breastfeed so no issue there and I must stress these fat burners worked wonders when I was on them before really getting those stubborn fat areas even whilst eating a sometimes bad dietary but working out 4/5 out of 7 days.
I have been doing MFP since I started my weight loss process and the max is 2 lbs week loss which is what it has specified to me.
I started off at 14st 2. And my BMI caused many problems throughout my pregnancy and now that I am post pregnancy.
My post natal check appointment confirmed I am okay to exercise and 'diet' and has been strongly advised due to the 5st 6 lbs overweight I am.
I quit smoking when I found out I was pregnant and haven't started again. I walk with the pushchair and my dogs daily, do workout videos and eat a balanced diet with calories to spare daily.
I have always struggled since my first child to lose weight and it never seems to come off. When I used to do Weight watchers I was lucky if I even lost half a lb a week which is why I asked if this would work.
Any help would be greatly appreciated and it's made me lose all confidence in myself as my skin is terrible also since gaining so much weight.
I drink so much water it's unreal and the odd time I have a cranberry juice.. gave up fizzy weeks ago.
So any tips and help would be great
    Thank you.

I've done a bit of juicing, including Jason Vale's 5 day challenges and one week in a mountain resort. It's a fairly harsh calorie restriction that triggers the attack response in many on here, but both me and my wife have found it effective for short term weight loss.

As you have 70+ pounds to lose you can stand the restriction of calories and draw upon fat reserves, but it's probably best to follow a program that someone has thought through and people have experienced. JV incorporates some blended avocado and other stuff into the recipes as well as juicing vegetables, it's not just fruit juice. There's lots of soluble fibre in the juices from the apple that most are based on.

Juicing in the day and an evening meal or soup would also be a viable option.
