I will be turning 45 soon....... I am looking to lose 50lbs. I need to lose more but this is my first goal. I have been on here for 2 weeks today. I have lost 10lbs. I was on here years ago before I had a smart phone. Logging on a desk top made logging food hard. The smart phone does wonders. I can check foods before I eat them. You can do this just like I can.0

So... I've actually taken this week seriously finally and I'm seeing results. Not feeling hungry anymore. My biggest downfall is that I am great 9-5 but 6-9 pm is where I am always snackish. I have been enforcing my "no food rule after 8pm" and water with lemon slices first thing in the morning (that's the hardest part because I literally twitch for my morning caffeine. Just by doing that and watching my portions, I'm down 4 lbs So far I'm proud of myself and staying motivated thanks to all of you. Please feel free to add me as a friend if you need motivation.0

I turned 40 last June, decided I was ready to lose weight last October, and have lost about 15 pounds since then. I have at least another 15 pounds to go.
I have been fairly meticulous with my logging since I started, even on dates when I ate over my allowance (my food log over Christmas was hilarious). But I am delighted that CICO works, that it just needs a bit of discipline, and I'm slowly teaching myself portion control - I could eat for England.
