Love handles and tummy

Hi guys :)
My name is raeesa.
I recently started to work out after being depressed for a week about my body starting to gain weight around my hips and tummy. It really makes me feel terrible and uncomfortable. I would really like to lose it. Does anyone have any workouts that really worked for them and helped them lose it?

    It 85% diet. Eat low carb at a calorie level 400 cals below maintenance

    Is this weight gain in the tummy region recent? For no reason? Big enough so you feel discomfort? Make sure you are not pregnant before starting a very low calorie diet.

    Hi Janetyellen. Well no it started over time... But ever since I moved to USA for some reason it's increased rapidly..

    Well I want a nice stomach and for my love handles to go away Coz they just stick out @blankiefinder

    Weight loss comes from a deficit. Workouts help the deficit, but it all starts in the kitchen.

    Could it be that you have started eating fast foods? More unhealthy than in your previous country?
    Exercise is a small part of the puzzle. Exercise for health. Eat right for weight loss.
    Repeating: It all starts in the kitchen.

    yep, what you are eating along with getting exercise is the key. For some, lowering carbs and increasing healthy fats tend to 'melt' away a bit of the tummy and neck areas first, which is a nice perk.

    I've noticed that when my friends go to the UK and other countries they lose a substantial amount of weight. Its the food in the US that causes it. As soon as they come back they gain it all back. Make sure to read the labels

    sounds like they are overeating when in the US if they are gaining weight. its not the food,its eating too much of it. that can happen anywhere in the world. eat more than you burn gain weight. its as simple as that
