Can anyone help a newbie on core building exercises? I bought the ab carver pro and obviously am not ready for it. Someone suggested building my core, but I am not sure how to go about that.

I like standing ab routines. I do two different DVDs Turbo Jam and Hip Hop Abs. They both tighten and tone your abs and core. You will feel your core muscles after you work out.0

A strong core comes from having a strong body, so follow any good full-body strength program, like New Rules of Lifting for Life, Stronglifts, etc.
