I just want others opinion on if this goal is too aggressive or not (I see doctor on Wednesday and will also be asking her, but for time being could use input from others).

So from August 2014 to May 2015, I had lost 70 lbs (260 to 190). Well I stopped weighing food because BF moved in and I originally felt awkward. With that, I kinda gave up logging, and this gained 25 lbs back. I have now gotten back into weighing food after he said he understand why I did.

Right now I am 215. Is a goal of 2lbs a week reasonable? When I get back to 190 I plan to cut it to 1.5lbs per week, 1lb a week at 160 and then .5 lb a week after 140ish.

Anyway, a week ago my BF proposed!!!! So of course I have wedding dresses and the big day on my mind. I know it will be a long engagement. This it is reasonable to set a goal of ~130lbs by June 2017?

You could get out a calculator and do the math.

I did do the math which is how I came up with June 2017. I was just curious of others think it is too aggressive.

I think it's doable, but it won't be easy!
Your plan looks completely reasonable to me, with a good step-down as you decrease weight established.
Good luck and I'm glad your partner is supportive!

Haha. That's me. I never do "easy" lol. I'm also trying not to set myself up for disappointment. If I don't get into the 130s, so be it. I will still be healthier and look better in a dress than when I'm 215.

Just remember you don't want to be losing weight up to your wedding date because your dress has to fit. You want to lose weight up to when you get it altered and then maintain. Once you're married, then you can continue on your journey if you haven't met your goal yet. But, dress shopping can be aggressive and once you purchase the dress, it can take a while to come in and be altered, so your journey may be put on hold for a while. You'll have to find a way to keep yourself healthy and fit. But it's actually very easy because I just went through it. I gave up all goodies like candies and ice cream and barely ate out and I maintained my weight after purchasing my dress and it fit perfectly and I didn't need it altered at all

I haven't even started looking for dresses lol. Once I am fitted though, I'm going to switch to maintainence mode. I am on continuing losing up until fitted.

Hehe. I made my own gown, was so proud of myself for having finished it early. Then I had finals, and after finals, the lead up to the wedding... I lost almost 20 pounds. My sis-in-law safety pinned me into my gown on my wedding day! (the safety pins are still in the inside seams)
