I don't see why you would need to. If it's for someone else I'm sure they can use their own email address and account info on the same device.0

Yes, but each account has to have a unique email address. So if your family member has a separate account, you have to use that email address. If you use a computer, each member could use a different browser, such as IE, Firefox, Chrome, Safari, etc. and not have to log out each time.
Please see these articles, and search for other helpful articles, on the MFP Help pages...

If she's 9 she's way too young to be on MFP. This site is for adults. In a few years you can get her involved with sparkteens and then when she's 18 she can transition to MFP.0 -

ELIGIBILITY
BY USING THE SERVICES, YOU REPRESENT AND WARRANT THAT YOU ARE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OLD AND ARE OTHERWISE LEGALLY QUALIFIED TO ENTER INTO AND FORM CONTRACTS UNDER APPLICABLE LAW. This Agreement is void where prohibited.
When you sign up for an account you agree to these conditions. If MyFitnessPal staff finds out that an underage user is on here they will remove the account and any linked accounts. That means adding your 9 year old could result in you losing your account as well.
Additionally, creating duplicate accounts for yourself is grounds for permanent ban from the website.
Thank you,
