Day 1 doing well with logging made sure to fit exercise in my schedule. I have the right mindset so that seems to be the motivation at this point.

I started with the attitude "I'll try this". I had never really dieted before and always tried to lose weight by increasing exercise. Counting calories showed me how much I was overeating. When I combined that with the sync of Runtastic and fitbit I realized two things 1) How many miles I had to run to burn off a big Mac combo and 2) if I burn enough calories I can still eat and drink beer. Once I started I was on a mission, running 30 miles a week and counting every calorie I took in. When the scale started moving I decided "I can do this". I lost over fifty pounds and people didn't recognize me. Thats when it hit me, this isn't a diet, Its a lifestyle change. Glad you started but be prepared, this is a journey and it will take time to retrain your body and mind.
