You don't need to reduce carbs to lose weight

Carbs are brain food and energy for your body! What you should focus on is eating healthy, whole, complex carbs. Some ideas of that are: brown rice, any whole fruit, peas, beans, legumes, potatoes, whole grain pasta, and of course any vegetable.

There are plenty of vegans, but most of us tend to stay out of the forums and live in the groups instead.
