Urgent Prayer Request

Once again I'm asking for prayers. Everyone here has been so kind - this is related to, but not even exactly the same, as my other prayer request. Has to do with this poor little boy who was kidnapped by his father out-of-state. Father has a HANDFUL of drug convictions on his record - and more - and he's lying to the court in a lame attempt to avoid paying child support. There's more - can't write more online because of the nature of this legal mess. It's taking forever for the court to hear the case...

Anyway - we have a sudden, urgent need for prayer right now. Please pray for all - God knows who needs the prayer... and to bring this little boy home for good fast.

    I just don't understand what goes through some people's heads! That's awful. Definitely in my prayers.

    Thanks so much. It's such a complicated mess (esp. dealing w/the courts). In the end, I have NO doubt he'll be back here, but he will def need counseling after the crap what the father AND the [just recent, btw] step-mother put this little four yr old through.

    I need to step back a bit, emotionally, as I have been literally getting sick (haven't even been able to eat much for the past few days - for me, that's bad) over the whole situation - it's gone on for about 7 or 8 months now. Won't do any good if I end up in the hospital! For me though, prayer is always the answer. (doesn't take the place of action by any means, of course)

    Thanks so much! Looks like the immediate crisis has been resolved, but the I won't rest until my little sweetie is back. Of course.

    Quick update: the one-time immediate, urgent problem was resolved, but there is more ahead. Also still don't know when the court date is (guess they haven't scheduled it.. arggh - been so long!). The wait is eating at me & everyone else. Stress is getting to all involved, so I'm going to ask if you guys have other prayer-warriors you know, if you could ask them to pray for the little four year old boy in the middle of the interstate custody battle - and all involved!!

    Thanks so much to everyone, and I'm including all who are so kind, in my prayers, too.

    I have to share this with my kind, loving MFP family: IT'S OVER!!!!!!!!

    This nightmare (it's been SUCH a nightmare on so many levels) is over as of this coming Friday.

    The little guy's mom has to go out of state to sign the documents. She'll have primary residency & will take him home with her.

    OMG - I cannot believe it!!

    I just wanted to thank all who prayed, and sent up kind thoughts for this horrid situation. I told her to make sure she gets counseling for him, to help him adjust and to deal with the feelings of abandonment he must have.

    Thank you God for answering this prayer - honestly, my prayer recently has been more like shouts of desperation!!
