Hey MFP,
I'm looking to expand my knowledge on fitness, exercise, strength building, physiology, kinesiology, effective personal training etc.
I've stumbled across some great books and articles, but I am looking to drink up as much knowledge as possible!
Please, if you have any favorited books and/or articles and/or videos, share away!
I look forward to learning from y'all!

Someone posted this in another thread earlier and I found it interesting. I have always wondered about the real differences in cardio vs weight training for results. https://www.myliporidex.com/blog/weight_training_versus_cardio/0

There are a ton of very thorough, evidence-based articles on Lyle's site.0 -

Any serious study should start with an anatomy & physiology textbook, and a kinesiology textbook. Not as fun as the trendy, popular books & websites, but it gives a solid foundation of science from which to judge other things you read. Your local library may have textbooks.
From there, i'd read the study materials of a good personal training certification, such as NASM. You can get used copies on Ebay.0 -

Good suggestion. I got a copy of kinesiology for dummies as a Christmas present. Haven't has a chance to read it yet but looks like it will give a decent base for further reading0 -

This is perfect, thank you! We have a second hand shop that gets a lot of textbooks, I'll check there first and then Barnes & Noble. I was thinking that would be a great place to start as well.0 -
