Hiya!

I signed up here on the recommendation of a friend, have only been here a few days and am finding it quite difficult to stay within calorific limits already!

I've always been big but did get down to size that made me reasonably happy a few years ago. But then life happened (as it tends to do) and the pounds started piling on again.

I'd love to find some like minded people for support and motivation (reciprocal of course!) or anyone who knows where to get a decent plus sized vintage dress in this town!

  • I'm new also, I'm just barely overweight, but went to my doctor today to discuss my weight and options and he suggested I track my calories on something like this. It's day one and its hard for me to consume as many calories as they say I should be consuming, now that I am living back at home (from college) in college that calorie intake would have been nothing with McDonalds. Burger King, etc. Lol. Now I feel way more self-consious being home.
    Feel free to add me also. I think we could be good motivators for each other! :)

    Hey,

    i joined MFP a couple weeks ago, no weight loss yet but have had lots of birthdays weddings etc so wanted to maintain for a bit.

    im moving down south in september, and am slowly aiming to get back down to a size 12 ish (last happened in 2003!) know how it feels for life to get in the way, you sound pretty positive which is great. i also would like to add friends for support and general chat, havent added anyone yet cos most people on here dont seem to add pics! feel free to add me as a friend.
