fathers day/anniversary ideas

i won't be home until mid afternoon on Sunday and its our 7th anniversary, with Fathers day on top of it!
I could use some ideas that aren't too spendy. Something sweet and appreciative. My DH has had a rough couple weeks at work.

    How about going to a park and packing a picnic lunch?

    Edit: picnic supper... just now saw u said "mid afternoon" :)

    This is what I would do too... Pack some of his favorite foods. :)

    crock pot to the rescue!! You can buy a less expensive piece of meat and get everything ready the night before. When you wake up throw it all in the crock and it will be done when you get home!!

    oven-baked ribs & strawberry shortcake! OK, just fed that to my husband and he loved it!
