Hi all,
I need some good scales, I`ve been using the Wii Fit but keep getting contradictory readings, so I need to invest in a good reliable set. I`m in the uk, anyone got any ideas?
Thx
M.

I have a weight watchers scale that I love. I get regular sane results. Wii fit scale seems like a joke! I was 147 kept telling me 141 (which was great) then I lost about 4 lbs and it said I only lost 1..that was not so great.0

We have the biggest loser scale in our house and it works great!0

I have Rosemary Conley Bodycare Scales (I think I got them from Argos) and I think they're great. Whichever ones you get, make sure that they measure your Body Fat % as well as your weight, as this is really good to make sure that you are losing fat not essential muscle tissue.0

Ive tried a few sets and they all give dodgy readings, i go to a weigh place in my local market once a fortnight and use theres as my guide, sorry im not much help xx0

I'm in the US so I'm not sure what brands are available. Go to your local Walmart type store and look at the selection available. I suggest one with a memory that will show your gain or loss each weigh in. Definately worth it. Good luck!0

Are scales that measure your body fat accurate at all? I just don't see how it could work. I'd love one that measures my body fat, but it just doesn't seem like it could be very accurate....0 -
This is the scale that we use at home and that the medical staff at the agency I work for use. (That's how I found out about it.) It is exact with the old "doctor's scales" I weigh on at Curves. I bought it at Walmart and think I paid less than it is listed on their website.

it has memory and tells you how much you've lost since your last weight in!0 -
Are you using your wii fit scales on a good hard surface? And do you regularly calibrate them? I use mine and they give me solid results each week which don't do any crazy fluctuations!0

Hi,
I have 3 kids and so I`m lucky to get on the Wii at all, let alone have time to recalibrate it. i`ll give it a try next time they`re all in bed thanks.

I also us my Wii fit scale and it works good for me. Part of the point of that scale is your supposed to weigh in everyday so you can see what your body is doing. I have to calibrate mine as well to make sure it is acurate. I know on morinings I weigh in and im up in weight it almost always has been because I had to much sodium the day before.0
