Hello Friends.
2 quick questions. New User of MFP. I wear a Fitbit Charge HR religiously.
Do you log exercise into Fitbit App or MFP App ?
1) Treadmill use... I will be going on the treadmill tonight and taking part in a couch to run program (run, jog, walk with various inclines) Do I keep my fitbit on and allow MFP and fitbit to sync ? How accurate will that be calorie burn wise... Or do I take it off and log separately when done. (but then if I do that, will fitbit go back and give me those steps ?)
2) Planks, Squats and Bowflex machine. New user to these as well and doing a plank, squat challenge for myself. How do I log those as exercise ? Or do you ?
Thanks a billion

I log all my non-step exercise via fitbit and then fitbit handles all the step stuff including treadmill work.0

Even if my treadmill workout is much more than step related ? Like high intensity uphill walking ? I know that is still steps but the heart rate increase alone would warrant more calories burned right ?0

is the eliptical considered a step based exercise? I've been logging it manually but I'm not sure I should be...0

If you have a Charge HR, I think it will adjust your calorie burn based on heart rate, too, along with intensity of steps.
Might want to check out the Fitbit Users group here: http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/1290-fitbit-users
There's a FAQ there that has loads of good info: http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10098937/faq-syncing-logging-food-exercise-calorie-adjustments-activity-levels-accuracy#latest
