seriously. For me, the first and hardest part is not being at work. When I'm working, I'm busy and not thinking about food. When I'm home, I get bored and want to eat. OR I'm out and want to eat crap! I even have a harder time getting water down on the weekends.... ugh!0

I usually feel like I have the opposite problem, since I tend to lean towards eating unhealthier things when I'm working. On the weekends I do GREAT because I'm so relaxed.0

DITTO: and at work i have more support... AND at work I go to the gym on my lunch... on the weekends it is running with the kids (usually in the car not literally running)...0

I have to say I love having a day off, but it's the worse with my calorie goals. I need to move more then eat more. Weekends are easy for me because I work during them. My last two days off were the worse ever!0

I have no idea, but it completely ruins my good work lol - I fall off the wagon on weekends and need to find a way to break the habit!0

I work at the weekends and still struggle need all the support I can get0

I know! It's really hard. This weekend I lost an extra 2lbs by planning my meals in advance, taking healthy snacks while out shopping & going for a pre Sunday roast dinner walk
Good luck everyone we are in this together xx0 -

i really need to do that... healthy snacks WHILE shopping... that would help me out 100%... i tend to buy crap to snack on while I drive to avoid grabbing Fast Food...0 -
For me it is being relaxed on the weekend that makes it worse, Sea! A little vodka & diet tonic and I am suddenly munching on things I would not touch without the liquid courage.
I think that being mindful of the weekend (or weekdays, as the case may be) is the most important thing. Don't give yourself the leeway of "oh, well, I was good all week" or any thinking like that. Dust yourself off and do better the next weekend. I usually pack up my snacks / plan out my meals so I have less chance of grazing or getting too hungry while I am trying to make a meal.
If you know you are going out to eat or to a party / bar or something, just exercise more earlier in the day to compensate and choose the absolute healthiest thing there.
Good luck!0 -

I work weekends, too, Poll! Is it the goodies at the office that are holding you back? Co-workers being unsupportive? Unhealthy restaurants around that you end up going to for lunch?0 -
I agree weekends are the hardest. Especially when the family has different plan on eating than you do or different outting plans. For example, today I was planning to go to the gym but my boys had other plans like going shopping. So my gym closed and no exercise. The boys wanted to eat out which I managed by ordering an omelet. It's hard but it's really up to what you want to accomplise. Weekends are getting better to cope with. Planning head is always a big plus In not over eating. My greatest tool is of course mfp. Good luck hope it gets easier.0
