Personal Success - no weight loss yet

Well, that's a lie, I have lost 10lbs... but this is a success story on another level.
You see, right now I am VERY self conscious about my size. I feel... hideous.
And several months back a good friend approached me and asked me if I'd do a YouTube show with him and I said yes (because I REALLY do want to do it) but shortly after saying yes I dove head first into doubt and insecurity.
What if people started commenting on how fat I am?
I'm not pretty enough for YouTube.
What if they hate me for how I look? My teeth are too big. I look huge on film... etc.
When it was time to start filming I stalled and stalled and stalled... my friend, bless him, was very patient with me. i could tell at some points that he was starting to get frustrated...
Finally I decided: SCREW IT. I'm doing this. It's something I want to do. It sounds like fun. I can't let how I look stop me from living my life how I want to live it.
Last weekend we filmed our first videos. Monday and Wednesday we put them online.
So far no haters, no rude comments but even if those rude comments come I won't let them stop me.
I feel... strangely empowered right now.
I overcame my personal demons and I'm living life!
The nerdy way... through YouTube. LOL
Keep living your life, don't let your insecurities stop you!

What a great NSV! I was approached yesterday to be in a recruitment video for my work, and I had all the same doubts. I'm also 10 pounds down with about 60 more to go, and it's horrible that I would limit myself because of my own body consciousness. This was the nudge I needed to do it. Thanks!0

YAY! Good for you! And just think, when you do lose the weight this video will just be another 'before' shot. That you can use to inspire people! 0 -
