Does realising you can knee yourself in the face count?

Haha I learned that the hard way when I sneezed lying down, my abs contracted and my knee shot to my nose!

The cat calling. It's returned to cute 19 year old me levels and I don't like it, not one bit. I want to go about my business in peace. I dread to think how bad it will get when I get to goal (currently upper end of overweight still but small for my weight).

I am excited to see how much less space I take up in an airline seat in May!

I post update photos sporadically on my FB and a few times people have asked how I've done it. A few never reply when I tell them CICO, resistance for ma sexay boady and cardio for more food. Too boring and too much like hard work I suppose.

Oh and someone I know is doing Slimming World and has had the usual first few big losses with it slowing down now. She lost 1.5lbs at last weigh in and everyone was like "better than nothing!", "still in the right direction!". Most people have bought into expecting ridiculously big losses every week and anything less is disappointing. No wonder people get so demotivated.

I've noticed my hubby checking me out more when I walk in the room. It's fun to watch him give me an appreciative once over, even after almost 25 years together. :)

I've noticed how what I eat is not of interest to people. No one used to notice what I ate but now my family or close friends seem to notice what is or isn't on my plate, as well as how much there is. It normally isn't a bad thing, it just feels a bit judge mental sometimes, mainly from those people who are not well versed in nutrition and are overweight.

I've also noticed less knee pain. Yay!

I also like how nice it is not to jiggle so much.

Unfortunately, I've noticed that I'm a horrible person. Like really, a truly horrible person. I'll catch myself looking at an obese person and thinking 'why don't you change this?? You have the power to make yourself smaller, and yet you're still stuffing that burger in your face'.
Which is wrong on so many levels. I know this. I used to BE fat, why am I judging people? And also, maybe they've fitted that burger into their daily calories, and they're losing weight anyway. I know nothing about them, but I'm judging them.
I wish I there was a formula as simple as CICO for making yourself a better person.

I went through a period like this too. As I got used to being my new weight this feeling has passed. I think at least part of it was distaste for fat me, being projected at others.

On the lighter side - even after 4+ years I can't get used to my clothes being so tight! It used to be that when I was undressing that my pants would come right off, for example. Now my underpants catch at my ankles and I've got to reach down and pull them around.

I've tried to come up with ways of phrasing and understanding why I believe overweight/obese people are treated differently. Then I realised we are treated differently after we lose weight because we ARE different

Things that haven't changed as I have lost weight
    > My intelligence
    > My sense of humour
    > How caring I am
    > How incredibly random I am
    > My friendliness

Eh, technically, if you've increased your exercise, chances are you'd perform higher on an IQ test (whether that measures a thing people would agree is intelligence is a can of worms I won't touch). Physical exercise seems to also be mental exercise.
Anyone that's lost weight will also generally be perceived by others as more intelligent.

I've notice a few things. I have way more energy then I used too. I look at the calorie intake on everything now. & a lot of my clothes that I wasn't able to wear, actually fit me now & I feel comfortable in it!
