Guilty Calories

Have you ever just had one of those days that you felt SO guilty that you did nothing but workout? That was my day yesterday!

After drinking a bottle and a half of wine the night before (super fattening, right!) I woke up yesterday morning feeling SUPER guilty! I called my friend who I was drinking with and we met at the gym! 580 calories and 60 minutes later (JUST on the treadmill) and we start doing boxjumps, lunges, squats, crunches, etc.

We go have lunch and keep in mind, I'm still feeling guilty! I didn't order anything bad, just chicken fajitas (meat and veggies only), but then I got home and still felt guilty! I went back to the gym last night for a run (another 60 minutes on the treadmill!) So to make a long story short, I burned over 1000 calories at the gym yesterday and because of that was 1000 calories short on my "food goal."

Today is almost shaping up to be similar! This morning I did Yoga (for the first time ever!) and I have plans to go for a run with a friend around 9pm! (For those of you who don't live in Florida, the heat is a killer! And running anytime before that is just stupid!) I know I"m going to be short calories again, but I don't know what to do to get them! Any suggestions??????

I don't worry about eating all my excericse calories - I too burn over 1000 some days...I eat what I want, when I am fully I stop...and if I go slightly over on another day - that is ok too.....but great job recovering from a "guilty day"....When I have a really bad day, or plan to..I just make sure I get extra workouts in over the next few days....

I never ate my calories I burned at the gym, some people say you are supposed to but I don't like to over stuff myself so I eat what I can. I think you are doing fine and it also kinda makes up for those guilty days if you're not eating back all your burned calories.
