    That's right up my alley. All I could eat was sweets.
    I kicked the habit by eating nothing but sweets.
    The trick was that I weaned myself off of sweets.
    Took a couple of months, but now, years later, I have no problem with sweets at all.
    My shut off time for not eating is 7 to 8 PM. So if I were you will be to pick a shut off time for not eating, then eat a piece of chocolate before your deadline.
