I'm a former collegiate athlete and really miss being in the best shape of my life. Work and grad school have taken up so much time that I lost my routine so I need some motivation to get it back! It would be really great to know others who want to do the same:)

Hey girl I'm in the same boat! Former college softball player and then real life hit after graduation. I've been SLOWLY going for a year but trying to kick it in gear now. It's a tough journey but you can do it! You're definitely not alone0
-
Awesome! It's nice to know you aren't alone. Leaving a sport is a tough transition!0

Former wrestler here, kinda makes these extra 40lb a harder hit knowing I how important weight is in my sport.0
-
@MommaMonkeyNgo of course! I've been told weight is a key aspect in that sport. Just gotta stay dedicated!0

Needing some motivation to get back into that gym routine; comment here if you feel the same and we can all help each other out!0

Shoot I gained 40 pounds after getting out of school sports 2 years ago. Got hooked on caffeine and other unhealthy food and strayed away from my clean eating diet. Right now I look nasty lol but I know I can get my body back !!!! 19 yrs old still in my prime0

Ahh I've been lucky with weather, I'm in Texas so it hasn't been colder than 60° in weeks! I usually just go on long runs and do calisthenics at the house cause I can't afford a gym membership right now @NicoleS160

Anyone needing motivation and encouragement in your journey feel free to add me:)0

Totally with you on the gym membership thing! It can be pricey! I go to planet fitness for $10 a month here but if I lived in Texas, I would be saving my money and hitting up the outdoors. 60 degrees sounds fantastic, I'm so jealous! Keep it up

2 years ago I split up with my now ex boyfriend and got very ill, I was around 9st and dropped down to just under 7st I then became happy in my self put the weight back on, I then (last summer) joined the gym become a fitness freak and managed to get to a good weight and I was fit.. then I met my boyfriend and it all went out the window and im now the heaviest I have ever been around 10st 3/4lb. I need to get fit and back down to a healthy weight again around the 8/8.5 st mark, as you can see my weight has been a constant battle and my life plays a huge roll in it! im on here looking for some inspiration! Plus me and my boyfriend are off the Vegas in August and I need to look good!!!0
-
I have trouble staying motivated too. But I have 2 friends who encourage me to hit the gym and track regularly0
-
You can add me anytime. Goodluck0

You'll get the body you want by August no problem!0 -
