After seeing my Dr. she does not want me to do any exercising, major medical problems. So anyone who is not supposed to exercise how do you lose weight? I will continue doing what I can when I can but today was a very bad day for me. I am afraid that I will not be able to lose the weight that I want to or if I ever will lose any at all.

I'm so sorry your going through a rough time.
The good news is - you can still lose weight without working out.
I know its hard not to be able to exercise but I promise you can still lose the weight . here's why - all you need for weight loss is a calorie deficit . eat less then you burn and you'll lose weight .
Here's where it gets tricky though, since you can't work out you will have to be really precise with your calculations since you won't have a buffer . get yourself a food scale and learn how to weigh all your foods and measure your liquid.
You must be committed to tracking as accurately as possible.
You will lose weight as long as your eating at a deficit .0 -

Opinion: 90% of the battle is eating right.0 -

This. I haven't been able to exercise since the beginning of December. I'm losing at a steady rate.0 -
There was many times during my weight loss process that I was unable to work out. I know it sucks but it isn't going to stop you from losing weight . just follow the advice I posted and you will lose. But remember- you won't have the extra calories from exercise as a buffer so please be accurate! ( no eyeballing portions or guessing ! ) use your food scale
I'm sure its very upsetting to hear the news that your not allowed to work out but you can still lose weight. Mfp has all the tools you need for success ! The database here is great. Get your food scale out and start weighing:)

There's a few of us with disabilities/ chronic illness on here. You're welcome to join here http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/940-chronic-pain-weight-loss
There are some awesome success stories from people who have lost huge amounts of weight through diet alone. It definitely can be done.
Don't be disheartened, sort out your calorie limit and you'll see the pounds drop.
Best wishes to you0 -
Are you allowed to walk, do mild yoga, or seated exercise/light weights?0

I'm not allowed to do cardio but I lift fairly consistently except on really bad days. I had to take 10 months off all exercise. I'm hoping and praying I don't flare soon. Hopefully you'll be able to return to gentle exercise eventually but weight is mostly about what you eat.0

no weight lifting I do some dancing but that is limited to how my back feels that day. I have major back and neck problems and RA so movement is limited but I try to do something even if for short amount of time but some days I have trouble even getting out of bed.0

I'm sorry to hear this . please believe me when I say that you can still lose without exercise. Remember- weight loss comes down to calories0 -
First I would get a second opinion.
Then I would make sure you're in a real calorie deficit.
Exercise isn't required for weight loss. It's just super helpful.0 -
I have been to so many Dr in the last 20 years that I know what my last Dr says is accurate. I knew the day was coming and I am doing my best to avoid a wheelchair, that is my main reason for wanting to lose the weight now. I have been trying for over a year on my own and decided I am not succeeding

Hugs, hon. So very hard when physical ill health and problems limit mobility this much.
Aside from the diet, though, there are some physical things you might be able to do that could have an impact. Not a huge one, but it makes it a bit easier.
Some studies on people who fidget have found that fidgeting, not surprisingly, uses up extra calories. It helps to know this because it does show proof that even an increase in small motions can give you some benefit. If there is anything you CAN fidget with, that'll help.
Also, small physical things I've done when I've been completely bed ridden, for exercise, have been things like moving around my feet to music - I put a pillow under my calves so my feet were in the air and just pointed or flexed them to the music, moved them in circles, that sort of thing.
Something else that can be even kind of fun is a type dancing, the part you'd be doing is called face tutting or hand or finger tutting. It's doing patterns with the hand, or the hand near the face, to music. It can be challenging to get a pattern right, but it exercises your arms and/or hands - can even just be fingers if you have arm or hand trouble (I know the back can sometimes impact the harm movements, obviously) - and so that can make it more fun to do.
Here's an example of some folks on youtube. This gentleman is doing it as a performance art, but there are lots of tutorials on youtube as well
