Daily streak question

I was wondering if anyone happens to know if you have to log on every day in order to keep your streak or if you can set up your meals for a couple days in advance and still keep your streak? I use this app on my computer as I don't have a phone that supports internet and I'd like to keep my streak going if possible. In July I'll be having a baby and won't be able to log in for a couple days and while I'm not attempting to lose weight, I'm not going to lie. I would enjoy to keep my streak going. This app is great for giving me an idea on carbs per meal which really helps for using insulin. Originally I started using it to keep track of my protein intake because my dietitian was concerned I wasn't getting enough in my daily eating. She's right, I'm not, but I'm working on it. The only meat I don't have an aversion to is hamburger and milk/soy products don't agree with me so yogurt isn't an option. If anyone has any other good ideas for getting protein in I'd love to hear them. I may have to ask my doctor about protein shakes or bars but I'm not sure I need all the extras that tend to be in those. Anyway I'm rambling now, maybe one of you kind people will have the answer to my original question.

Your streak has nothing to do with your food log, unfortunately. It simply counts every 24 hour period in which you are logged in and visit the site. You don't need to log or post anything to keep your streak, but conversely, you can't log in advance (or go back and log retrospectively) and keep your streak.
Congrats on the baby0 -
Thanks for the reply. I guess I'll be losing the streak then. Not a huge deal, just a little hit at my OCD lol. Thank you for the reply and the congrats!0

You can, however, use this link to reseat your streak. You could always use it when you come back?

That's amazing! Thank you! As cheesy as it sounds, that will make me feel better.0

Protein shakes aren't all sugar and nasties. Normally they're simply egg protein, I use them everyday I train for swimming to avoid my weightloss diet from eating the protein in my muscles.
Remember protein only lasts about 8 hours in your body, so you need to include it into your daily diet. Hope This helps. ; )0 -
Hemp seeds have good protein in them.
Protein shakes
Eggs / egg whites
Lentils / beans
If you like ground beef there's a lot you can do with it. Burgers, bolognese sauce, lettuce wraps, Asian salad with ground beef, samosas
You can do all the same with ground chicken or turkey if you can handle them.0
