I'm in college and I'm trying to lose weight. Any tips?

Take the longest routes to classes that you can, get a bike instead of a car, grocery shop for veggies and keep them at home (pack your lunch!), sleep as regularly and as much as you can, and find a friend who can relate to your goals!

I'm also in college, and it's rough stuff. My campus is in a very dangerous area so I myself cannot get a bike or go on long walks, but I do take refuge in the campus gym. It's a lifesaver.

Don't go home between classes. Walk your butt off instead.

    Limit/watch your calories.

All that hanging out at the coffee shop/quad where pastries/burgers/vending machines are? Bad idea unless you have the will to resist.

Also, pub nights/pub crawl calories pile up, watch the alcohol and the munchies, and don't be lazy preparing your own food. I know food vendors are more convenient, but it's easier to maintain your calorie deficit if you're making your own food.

I regret my uni days. Winter/fall term meant sugary lattes all day, everyday. :D
