Hey everyone :) I eat 100% clean 6 days out of the week, allowing one day to be a complete cheat day without counting calories. Meaning, I eat whatever I'm hungry for without feeling bad about it and I don't work out that day either. I've lost 51lbs and I'm 5'9 1/2 and staggering between 160-170lbs. Lately, I haven't been losing weight but my waist is consistently getting smaller. My butt is very "vulumptious" though. Not fat, just curvy and toned. Basically a bubble butt. Since I'm losing weight everywhere else, is my butt caused by the cheat day? I run, squat, and weight train. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind it, but it definitely draws attention and if people are staring at my back side I feel uncomfortable. Could it be genetics or will my butt match my body as I continue to tone? Lmao. I'm already pretty toned and in shape idk what to do.

What does that mean--"is my butt caused by the cheat day?" Are you asking if your body is partitioning calories so that every Saturday, or whenever you have your cheat day, they are all funneled to your butt?

I'd say you answered your own question. If your butt isn't fat and it's curvy and toned and you're doing squats..well makes sense to me. I guess I'm wondering what you're asking since you say you're already pretty toned and in shape?..So..??

My butt is just obnoxiously big. It's toned and stuff but it just seems big compared to the rest of my body. It sounds stupid since most people see this as a good thing, but for me, I feel disproportionate. That's what I was trying to say. Lol

    YESSSS.

    Oh.

Yes, that's how it works. Lucky you figured out the right days to cheat. You don't want to see what happens when you pick the wrong day.

I'm just kidding you. Your body shape is your body shape. We all have certain areas that are genetically predisposed to losing fat faster or slower or being bigger or smaller than others. It sounds like your butt is a slower to lose spot. The cheat day only affects this in that it decreases your overall caloric deficit for the week.

I know how you feel I have always had a big bum. I have never liked it even though its fashionable atm. Unfortunately not much I can do about it, its not looking its best at the moment but for me even at ideal weight it will still be big. I got used to getting clothes altered when I was younger as my waist was proportionally tiny. I am still a long way from ideal weight but now that I am almost out of the obese range my waist has started to return and the old problem of waist gap is coming back. At 5'4 it usually means that my skirts and pants end up on my hips so I tend to have longer skirts and have to take even more length off the bottom of pants.
