I am 33, will be 34 this year, and I already have three children(girls)under 7 years of age. My husband and I wanted to try to have a 4th (wanted to go for the boy)once I get to a healthier weight. Im currently over 100lbs over weight and on 2 blood pressure meds. If pregnant I will still continue on the weight loss journey, or maintenance(depending on what the doc reccommends ) but I am honestly anxious and nervous telling family friends and even the doctor that I might be pregnant or for that matter pregnant. I don't want to be judged for being "fat" and pregant..AGAIN! any advice from personal experience will help. How did you deal with it?

Wait...are you pregnant now or not?
Please don't intentionally get pregnant at 100 pounds overweight. The outcomes are not great for you and you really put the child at risk for having life-long problems. It's not a safe or smart thing to do.0 -
First & foremost, EFF whoever has anything to say about the amount of children you have. As long as you & your husband are financial stable & can be everything you need to be for those kids, have as many as you'd like.
However, I do agree with not having anymore until you get to a weight that is going to be healthy for you & your baby. Just think, you could be preparing for the baby while getting healthy. It's a win-win.0 -
Please talk with your doctor. If you are pregnant, than as a mom of three, I'm sure you know how important pre-natal care is. Especially if you are 100 pounds overweight. Don't let your anxiety about the situation overcome your good sense to get the necessary pre-natal care and have as healthy a pregnancy as possible (if you are pregnant).0

I wont echo what's already been said. I know my doctor is very conservative and most info I've heard is to not [try] and lose weight while pregnant. I'm trying to be as active as I can now so I can continue to be active when pregnant. Obviously listen to whatever your doctor tells you if you are pregnant now0

Thank you all for your replies. I will go confirm pregnancy in 2 weeks when I go to my appt (I made it after posting) rest assured I will listen to what my doctor reccommends, if not pregnant I will wait to reduce the risk of any complications. I really appreciate your responses.0
