    More Metalish:

    Cannibal Corpse
    Slayer
    Immolation
    Testament
    Megadeth
    Carcass
    Mercyful Fate
    Amon Amarth
    Sepultura
    Black Dahlia Murder
    Type O Negative
    Psychostick
    Overkill
    Death Angel

    Less Metalish:

    Tool
    Nine Inch Nails
    Primus
    Rage Against the Machine
    Killswitch Engage
    Mindless Self Indulgence
    36 Crazyfists
    Caliban
    As I Lay Dying
    Trivium
    In Flames

Too many to name, and I have to leave work. Really can't stand bands like Asking Alexandria, BTHM, Black Veil Brides, My Chemical Romance, etc. Scenecore/Screamo is just awful.

I don't have time to list them all, but plenty of rock and metal on my playlist, as well as concerts I've been to. Other than a few off the wall things here and there, just about all I've ever been to in person has been rock or metal of some sort.

I've seen some now no longer around, and enjoy some of the music festivals to check out the newer bands. And I have to say, I've found bands that I thought were too "poppy/mainstream" on their studio stuff that put on a really good show that made me like them a lot more.

We have a local event called the Lunatic Luau that is usually a good mix.

    lunaticluau.com/line-up/

We often get "crappy" covered seats so we can get out of the weather if it gets bad. But it's also because if you are too close to the main stage, it's a disadvantage getting to the side stages quicker to get a good spot. So even if the main stage headliners are a really good band, we compromise to see some of the side stage bands.

I wish they did more multiple day things. I went to the US Festival and it was just killer. Of course these days that would probably be $400 a day or something.
