GRITS???

I understand by reading all the labels that grits are loaded with carbs.. ok.. but I'm very confused on the calorie content. I know that when cooked there is way more water than the actual grits. So I try to figure a cup of cooked grits.. but so many different calories come up. I'm just looking at plain white corn grits.

Ok thank you this is what I thought. The serving size is 1/4 cup of dry grits0

Anything that absorbs a lot of liquid is always best measured dry.
And now it's after midnight and I want some grits.0 -
According to my container of Quaker old fashioned grits, a serving is 1/4 cup dry or 41 grams. I would weigh out 41 grams. Whatever that cooks up to is 150 calories.0
