Doesn't matter. Everyone's success and failure has nothing to do with yourself.0

5 lb. I was shocked! I would've been thrilled with 1. I was expecting 0. I was totally convinced that it was impossible for my body to lose weight.

2 kg. I had 33 kg to lose.
I haven't lost any more than 1.2 kg per week in the 10 months since then, and it's down to less than 0.5 kg per week now, with 4 kg to go. I'm very very happy with this rate of loss.
Don't expect a huge loss in your first week if you've only got, say, 20 lbs to lose.
You didn't put the weight on overnight. Don't expect to lose it overnight.
Patience means you get to eat more, and also increases the probability that you will stick to a reasonable calorie deficit and not crash and burn from a starvation diet.0
