I want to make a thai curry but I want to replace the peanut butter as it is too calorific. I was thinking pea nut oil as I still want the taste but I dont know whether it will be good enough or how much to use?
Thanks for your help in advance

Try with some powdered peanut butter. It has a lot of the fat removed so the calories are much lower.0

Yep, PB2 or powdered Jiff.
It is surprisingly good in recipes like this, and way less calories0 -

PB2, PBFit, Just Great Stuff......even Jiff has one. These have the peanut oil pressed out.0 -

Has anyone tried Walden Farms Peanut Butter? It got horrific reviews but yet I'm still tempted to buy it because it's 0 calories.0

Peanut oil would be just as calorific ounce for ounce. How about sprinkling some crushed peanuts over top?0

Walden Farms is DISGUSTING. Save your money. No kidding.....it's just gross0

Just tried pb2 for the first time last week...i'd suggest that!0

Definitely powdered PB such as PB2. Peanut oil is more calorific than peanut butter and will probably not give you as much PB flavour.0

peanut oil is more calorie dense than peanut butter, and does not impart nearly the same amount of peanut flavor0
