I know the 30 day shred is hard on wrists but due to my torn ligament trying to find something - How hard is P90X on wrists or is it something that can be skipped ?

It involves a lot of pushups, pullups (or similar done w/ bands), weights. I don't have trouble with my wrists and have had no such issues doing P90X, but I don't know about someone w a preexisting wrist problem.0

There is one workout that might be an issue for you, that is the chest and back DVD. The difference is that you work different bodyparts each day with P90X. 30 Day Shred would have you do full body workouts over and over and over for 30 days. Working the same body parts each day. With P90X you have the option of using the resistance bands for the back workouts, instead of the pull-up bar.0

I am wondering if I will be able to do this if I wear my brace for that part - normally dont wear my brace exercising0

Sometimes I use gloves and it really helps my wrists. I have the lifting ones that wrap at the wrist.0

I use these (http://www.amazon.com/GoFit-GF-PUB-Push-Up-Bars/dp/B0007W2FLS) to help ease wrist discomfort during planks, pushups, and mountain climbers or anything that involves holding my weight on my hands.0

Hey lady, I broke my right wrist and it's tough, but if you get some pushup bars from walmart/target you should be just fine.0

I know it sounds funny but would it be dumb to skip that disc ? or would it ruin the whole point ?0

I am starting to think maybe I shouldnt have bought it without asking about all these issues , I have a torn Tfcc in my wrist and surgery wont even repair it in a life long brace for it for when it acts up0

Skipping once doesn't ruin the experience. Any work you do on yourself is worthwhile!0

Did you get all the literature that came with the program? The lean version of the P90X program should be much easier on your wrists.0

I have tendonitis and weak wrists and am in my second round of P90X. I had fully intended to get push up bars but have never gotten around to it and use dumbbells instead. They seem to work just fine and I have not experienced any aggravation of my wrist issues doing it. If I don't use the dumbbells though my wrists hurt (which is why I started using them!)0
