I'm Missy and due to medication I have ballooned up very quickly and now I have to try to lose it, as you know, slowly. I'll definitely need some positive vibes. I'm not feeling very hopeful.

Hi, Missy. I'm Brandy. I understand that it can be daunting to start. I've only been doing this for 3 weeks now but I'm so glad I started. What exactly are your plans to lose weight? Are you using the calorie counter? Exercising?

I started exercising first and only started logging my food intake about a week ago. Logging the food is definitely helpful to see what I'm putting into my body and what areas I can work on. My goal is to lose 75 pounds total. I'm hoping to lose at least 50 pounds before the end of 2016.

I think that the key is to not approach this as a fad diet to lose the weight but to gradually change your habits to healthier ones. The slow-and-steady-wins-the-race approach is helping me a lot so I hope that it helps you too!

I haven't figured how to add friends yet. Maybe you can tell me how.
